About

I’m guest lecturing in a couple weeks. I want to start my lecture with a song. Any suggestions?

“Everything you already are is all that you’ll ever need to be.” Imogen Heap & ai.mogen Unsurprisingly, 6 years ago, Imogen Heap fully embraced AI in the creation of their 2025 EP “I AM__”, which sought to explore how the imminent AI revolution could shape their art and, more importantly, how their art can responsibly inform and shape AI. (The bass in this piece gives me head-to-toe chills.) Hearing music of this calibre and depth, and that stays true to an artist’s vision and sound, what are your opinions on AI’s role in the ethical creation of music?

The ground vibrated beneath my feet. The spotlights above me were blinding, yet they drew me in like a moth to a flame. No matter where I looked — men dancing with men, making out, loving. Close. Closer than I had ever dared to dream. The steady beat drove me further and further onto the dance floor. And suddenly I was part of a body that seemed to pulse with nothing but life and love.

After watching the movie Pillion last night I again find myself facing the question, “What if I do everything right and still don’t get chosen?” Are there any gay movie recs where they don’t leave my heart so heavy?

This week I’ve been around people a lot : meetings, conversations etc. And today I feel like going out, but alone. Not to talk, not to meet anyone. just to dress up, walk, fancy drink, observe, and be with myself. Like I’m tired of people, but still want to feel the world. Do you ever go out like that?

Hey everyone! If you’re visiting Athens right now, you might not know that the Official Pre-Pride Party is happening this Saturday, April 4th.  It’s a massive annual event at Peiraios 260 (near Tavros/Kallithea). It’s where all the locals go to kick off the Pride season. It’s much bigger than the usual bars in Gazi and features multiple DJs, live performances, and a great mix of music (Pop, Reggaeton, and Techno).  • Pro-Tip: It’s a fundraiser, so your entry fee supports the June Pride parade! • Access: The venue is wheelchair accessible. • Time: Starts at 11 PM and goes until sunrise. See you on the dance floor! 🏳️‍🌈

I can’t describe the loneliness of living alone after 11 years in a relationship. I no longer remember how to enjoy being by myself. The nights feel silent and monotonous. It’s not sad - just different. But it will get better 😊

The Architecture of Silence You appeared without warning, rising from the lake’s mist, and I had no way to prepare for the impact you’d have. In your eyes, I saw beauty—your smile brighter than anything I’d known. I fell quickly, dizzy from your charm and the flood of compliments that made up for years of silence. You were exhilarating. What followed was deeper. You gave me intangible gifts—feelings I never imagined possible. You made me believe I was important, desired, worthy. You said I brought you peace, that God brought us together, that you’d always protect me. With you, I felt transformed—strong, confident, unstoppable. Then, just as suddenly, you were gone. No warning, no explanation—only silence where love once lived. The loss was devastating, a sharp, enduring ache. I still don’t know whether to grieve what’s gone or be grateful it happened at all. The silence weighs heavily, but beneath it, something remains. You didn’t protect me from the pain of losing you—but you did protect me from my own doubt. My world is darker now, but I finally know my worth. My heart is broken, yes—but for the first time, it knows it deserves to be loved.

A question to anyone willing to respond! Is is typically normal for you 100% carry basically every conversation you are a part of? Family, Friends, Associates, potential other half, you send most if not all of the messages and recieve little responce and its alwayse days or weeks later. Im just tryin to figure out if im the one whose being unreasionable when it comes to potential relationship conversations. I figured they should be atleast Slightly different than a normal conversation. if im wrong, i need to both know and then change some things.

How to make more LGBTQ+ friends Making more queer friends sounds easy, but it can be surprisingly hard. Our increasingly isolated digital world doesn’t help. Enter Collective, a thriving online community that helps you find new gay friends both locally and abroad. Try these tips using the app to grow your circle. Support the arts You don’t have to be an artist to form friendships through art. Use Collective to find drag shows, photography exhibitions, or open mics in your area. Introducing yourself to a person at an event for an artform you love can easily turn into going to the next one as buds. Start something new Have a niche interest like B-Horror, bee-keeping, or blowing glass? Whatever it is, start a club that meets virtually or in-person. Post on Collective to spread the word and find friends to nerd out with. Let the world know Tell friends far and wide that you’re looking for more LGBTQ+ friends. There are many queers in the same boat. All it takes is sharing a text post on Collective that you’re looking to go dancing or bouldering, and watch the comments pop off with gays keen to join. Ready for a new world of queer connection? Download Collective today.

Everyone I get close to winds up leaving. What’s the point anymore. People just use you for a few bit when they’re bored or if they need a distraction from something and then that’s it. And then once they’re done with you, thrown away. It’s like you never even existed. And people wonder why I have trust issues. 🤷🏻‍♂️
