“Discrimination is harmful no matter where it comes from even within our own community. Everyone deserves the freedom to be themselves without being judged for how they look, act, speak, or express who they are. We should celebrate individuality, not shame it. It’s time to end this prejudice and build a community based on respect, acceptance, and genuine inclusion for everyone.”

Forcing anyone to try to like/love you is one of the hardest things to learn and also one of the hardest things to unlearn.

dating is so simple, why does society make it so hard? just notice if someone is good for you and if they’re able to adapt to what you envision for yourself, your future and your day to day life, and if not, that’s ok! 8 billion people out there, literally thank u, next by ariana but make it your mindset and you’re GOOD TO GO

I’m not like a HUGE gamer, but I have put some hours into certain games. Over 3000 hours into Animal Crossing, built like 6/7 islands all together. Maybe 1000 hours into Disney Dreamlight Valley. I’ve finished Pokémon Pearl, It Takes Two and Split Fiction. I’ve played some Pokémon Arceus, Little Misfortune, Sims 4, Palword, and attempted Grounded recently. I also played a little bit of Wild Flowers. I wanna try Pokémon Pokopia, and Tomodachi Life next!

Any advice for expanding the social life as a deeply reserved person? Not introverted, just not jumping out the window to be extroverted. Starting a new life chapter and I wanna do stuff that doesn’t involve getting shitfaced without the pretentiousness that comes with sober activities (sometimes)

Remember Call Me by Your Name? Elio’s father tells him in the end „You had a beautiful friendship. Maybe more than a friendship… but our hearts and our bodies are given to us only once.”- its such a beautiful dialogue 🥹 We live as if both had more time than they do. As if we could keep postponing presence, feeling, honesty, and still arrive untouched. But the heart does tire. The body changes. And a life spent trying to feel less, just to stay safe, can quietly become a life only half-lived. Maybe the point is not to protect ourselves from every wound. Maybe it is to not waste what is still here: the body that carries us, the heart that still responds, the time that is still ours to use. Not to harden too early. Not to disappear from our own lives before they are even over. Let’s be here while we’re here ❤️

there are days. days that I don’t wanna get out of bed. days that I don’t want to talk. days that I just want to… drift by. it’s a weird feeling to constantly look at everyone’s lives, seeing them do things and feel a particular type of envy. like, you’re happy for them and all but also wish you were able to do them as well, or be chosen first or be just… there. it’s an ever-consuming feeling, fleeting yet also so crushing. I’ve been reminiscing about some of the stuff I’ve been through these past few months.. a legal issue. sure I won in the end, but it also destroyed me mentally. I became this.. unrelying, isolated version of myself, like I threw myself down a deep well and just stare at a hateful mirror that desires to be looked at.. it’s something let me tell you. it’s gonna be okay, I know that. but I don’t want to deal with this feeling of isolation and adoring jealousy. I don’t want to be someone’s backburner choice, or last resort. selfish, I know; but I’m just tired of it. anyways, thanks for reading it this far. and apologies for the eyesore.

In need of creative friends. I love the friends I have, don’t get me wrong. They’re irreplaceable, but, not having other friends that get the creative lifestyle and trying to expand and collaborate with other artists can be tough when your circle isn’t in that crowd. That’s why I downloaded this app. If there’s one thing I know about the gays is that we invented creativity, and I’m hoping that i find my people through it :) This is an invitation hahahah

There are a lot of reasons I’ve been a loner. Being a SAHP is one of them. Most people I’ve been friends with didn’t have kids, and over stepped many boundaries. I’ve gone many years with untreated ADHD, as well as PTSD from a DV situation. I’ve been in therapy now for 3 years, but just over a year ago my bestfriend passed away. He was also queer, and we were bestfriends for almost 20 years. I’ve been hiding more than ever, refusing to even attempt to talk to people. I’ve lost more friends in that isolation. I know this isn’t a life decision he would’ve wanted me to make. He was an extremely outgoing person. I have to live life for him, and find some happiness while I still can. I’m taking a chance here to talk to like minded individuals as myself, and hopefully meet a few good people that I know still exist out there. Feel free to come say hi. 🖤

social moral high grounds—that make people forget that they should not be judging another human being. Entitlement, informed by dehumanizing logics. With time I’ve learned to not hand over my humanity to people. It’s not up for debate. Like what are we doing here? Grabbing groceries, getting a bite, filling up the gas tank. Then do THAT. We’re not here to debate my humanity—nor yours. I write this as a reminder to you. Do not let anyone deminish you. Do not let someone else’s judgment create shame within you.

I’ve always been kind of bad at socializing. Not in a dramatic way. I just never really learned how people naturally make friends or stay connected with each other. Even social media feels foreign to me. I rarely have the desire to post, appear online, or remind people that I exist. So over time I got used to being alone. Nature, long walks, silence, random thoughts became my normal life. And most days I’m okay with it. But sometimes I wonder if I got too comfortable in isolation. I’m not getting younger, and I honestly don’t know if this is simply who I am now or if connection is something you can still learn later in life?
