I don’t know ? What to call this feeling It’s comes and goes randomly, this feeling where I feel useless to my own self where I have no motivation and seek some kind of objective or aim, and sometimes I feel the urge sense of accomplishment and aim to achieve something bigger than me . Sometimes I want to learn to love someone and be loved back but sometimes I just want to be left alone with no romantic connection with anyone ,this feeling where I constantly feel confused and disorganized one minute and the next overconfident and burning with passion has become a fixed point I battle with

Deep Thoughts: on Attraction Every person you meet has their own idea of what makes them attractive. Sometimes these combination of ideas are derived from childhood experiences, stigmas/fear, self-realization/comparisons, and the desire to be liked by others they perceive as worthy. The part no one talks about is attraction varies and can change. Not everyone you find attractive will find you attractive. Choose your choices wisely!

How we communicate our stories and narratives of self… through narratives of pain, which are built on categories (identities) imagined as fractured as a posed to what makes us whole. I wrote a poem a few years back. It went something like: Tell them who you are [insert your great grandmothers bame] And [your grandmother’s name] And [mother’s name]. Identities may be useful. How we operationalize them and the narratives we construct and attach to them is important. We signal and communicate to the reciever(s), what this must mean. How they should understand our own experience. There is harm in the world, and it may be useful to name it in the context of historical, structural, and social processes to remind persons that there is no “other” and the centrality they may have come to internalize is itself constructed by the same historical, structural, and social processes that have exploited, harmed, oppressed… That is, that their very centrality is mediated by violence.

Does anyone else feel like meeting people has become easier, but actually connecting with someone has become harder? I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, especially how we keep meeting new people, trying, going on dates, talking… and still so often end up thinking “they’re nice, but I just don’t feel it.” So I went a bit nerdy with it and looked into what psychology says about endless choice, comparison, dating apps, and why having more options can sometimes make us more selective rather than more connected. I ended up writing a new Substack piece called “Why Nobody Feels Quite Right.” Would really love to hear your experiences too: do you think dating nowadays gives us too many options, or have we just become clearer about what we want? 🩵

Am i lost and confused or am i wrong to feel like apps like these are becoming a space where perfection is the ideal identity of being beautiful, attractive and interesting to engage or create a connection?

How to find Perth Canyon Look west – it is right there, a fissure filled with fish and salt and pressure. Wave to The Big Blue and they will wave back at you: look at what you’ve started. Deep sea and deep time meet in the current, an ecology of granite path, a breeding cliff. To find Canyon, take spoon, or bucket, kneel, unspool 10,000 years with repetitive moves. Where does all the water go? Where does all the water come from? Gigantic is another word for abyss, which rests at the edge. Bring your own light. Close eyes, wade with senses, let tenses shift – all that exists has existed all along.

okay, bringing a little psychology into the collective today :) i recently wrote something about the “maps” we quietly carry into relationships: how early experiences can shape what closeness, distance, reassurance, uncertainty and even chemistry feel like to us later on. it started with attachment theory, but I was much more interested in the questions underneath it. why can uncertainty sometimes feel more intense than actual compatibility? why does calm affection feel natural to one person and strangely unfamiliar to another? and how much of what we feel in relationships belongs to the person in front of us, versus the expectations we arrived with? i also tried to stay away from the whole internet version of “he didn’t text back = avoidant attachment” lol. human beings are thankfully much more complicated than that. enjoy your reading 👀 “The Maps We Carry Into Relationships”

I'm not straight ,gay , bi or whatever I am just Manuel that's my identity. When I meet someone new I don't way oh I am sorry straight ,gay or I am bisexual instead I say "my name is manuel nice meeting you" and I think the term of "coming out" is very unnecessary straight people do not write a full official eassy or sit down their family and say I have something to you I'm straight no they don't , me telling you oh I have someone to tell you guys makes me feel maybe I am not normal and my feeling are not normal besides the male and female gender we are all just humans and I fell in love with another human I don't need a sexual identification to express how I feel towards someone . If I am dating a guy or girl I think the only is saying oh I am dating this guy or this girl finished because my feelings are normal I don't owe anyone a official announcement because I am not abnormal . I would always tell people around me I don't need you to say to oh there's something I should tell I am gay or whatever Instead say oh there's this guy I like or girl I like I don't have the right to question what you like . So I am normal just like everyone else

Just officially starting my scent collection 😅 It all began when I ran out of Herbalife Man—still my favorite scent of all time. I finished three full bottles of it before it got discontinued. After that, people encouraged me to try fragrances that felt more appropriate for work, and I ended up falling for: • Armani Code EDT • Versace Eros • YSL Black Opium • Fragonard Secret Absolu • Montblanc Individuel Lately I’ve also been diving into YouTube recommendations… total hit or miss. Absolute loves: El Ganso Friday Edition and Gucci Guilty. Absolute passes: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and CK Obsession 😂 Anyone else here collect scents? Would love to connect with fellow fragrance people! Drop a comment or DM if you’re down!

The first time someone called me “daddy” in bed, it took me out so hard because I’m an actual dad. In recent years, most of the guys who reach out to me are younger, and I’ve gotten used to hearing them say “age is just a number,” a line that used to go the other way when I was growing up. The openness of “daddy” culture is a real sea change. I’m working on a book about this now and would love to know: If you’re drawn to daddies, what is it that attracts you? When did this start? When you pursue age-gap relationships, do you feel accepted by others? What do you wish more people understood about all this? Share your thoughts!

Is it too much to ask for a respectful man who gives me affection and attention? I want a boyfriend who caresses my head and likes to be close to me... I want kisses and warmth. I want to feel safe. Universe, listen to me: I'm 20 years old and I want to live a true love.
